This is by all mean the most beautiful story that has turned into movie that moved me so much. I probably talk about the movie more than i talk the book because I couldn’t help it, I love the movie so much. Love the cast also… Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdam played Noah and Allie so perfect, I cried watching them.

Ok, their love story begun when Allie and Noah met in the summer. Allie came home to her home country and met Noah in the Amusement Park, where he insisted her to go out with him, of course she agreed.

So the journey to the passionate love begun. Allie, the uptown girl dating Noah Calhoun, the farmer’s son, sure they kept their relationship from Allie’s parent, and as soon as her mother found out, Allie was forced to be apart from Noah, but not before he made her a promise to build their white dream house.

During their seperation, Noah went to serve his country as a soldier and Allie go back to her town as work as a nurse, there she met her future fiance.

Meanwhile, Noah never forgets Allie, his true love, where he wrote her a letter, everyday for a year. It was when he came back from the war, that he saw Allie with someone else, but still, his feeling for her never change, so he started to build their dream house, an old house he ever showed Allie and promised her to make it great.

Later on, after he is finished building the house, it became famous, for Noah did it by him self and always refuse to sell it. He appeared on the newspaper with his dream house as the background. Allie who were trying her wedding gown accidentally see the newspaper and come across to Noah’s picture with the house, got faint.

Curious on how Noah came across with the home, Allie decided to pay Noah a visit. There she met him and accused him on leaving her. Of course Noah explained that she’s the one who left, the one who never returned his letter. Allie was suprised to learn that Noah never forget her.

So on that day, Allie and Noah made up and made promises on what to come, and promised to each other to stay love.

Fast forward until they are old, Allie had an Alzheimer, but Noah still beside her, with her all the way and his love never subside.

Yes, I love the book, and love the movie.. it is so great great great.

This is probably the oldest book I’ve ever owned, I bought it when I was in my second semester of university. The moment I laid my eyes on the book, I knew that I had to have this book. The cover was so oldies but the inscription below that said “For the heart to know passion, the soul must know surrender”, really captured my heart.

This book probably the sequel from Wrap Me In Splendor, because I find the heroes of that book is now the parents on this one.

Sable St. Germain is the English Rose. Her youth beauty is so famous in the English society, yet she found all those society gathering so boring for her taste. She loves her country home, for it offers her the sanctuary of the bustling London.

When she first met Sir Morgan Carey, was at a party. She was terrified by him, for he was tall, broad-shoulder, and so intimidating. Yet when he touch her with his kiss, she felt something that never been there before. Oh yeah…. Sir Morgan Carey really kissed her like no one before, evoking something so primal in her years of womanhood.

Sir Morgan Carey was also find her exciting. This child-woman he kissed in the balcony of a ballroom dance, yet he knew he can’t have her further, for he respected her father and is in need for the man’s help, so he will only ask for her father and leave her.

At first Sable misunderstood about his coming to her home meeting with her father. She thought he was asking for her hand, and when she found the truth, she was humiliated beyond reasons. And when her father got an accident from a horse riding, she decided she’ll go accompany her brother in a journey of a lifetime.

During her voyage, her ship was being subjected by a privateers, and she was thrown overboard. And in the morning, she learned that she was being rescued by Morgan Carey, the last man she expected to see again.

She was cared and tended by Morgan himself. Everyday he spend his day and nights caring for her. Until she awoke and find him by her side.

Morgan Carey never expected that his journey will be filled with temptation of kissing Sable. Her innocence kisses tempted him so, that he decide he will bed her until he finish wanting her, but of course Sable won’t let him do that, for losing her innocence will brought shame to her family, but the passion they feel for each other was so strong that they can’t denied.

After several attempts on rescuing Morgan’s brother succeed, Sable found herself being picked up by her father and returned to her home, when later she found out that she was pregnant with Morgan’s baby.

Determined to make Morgan see, that she was belong to him, she decided to go and find him again. But one of Morgan bitter family captured her and made her a prisoner.

Learning that Sable has become a prisoner of his cousins, Morgan set his heart on rescuing her, there he learned that his love for Sable had already grown, and he can’t let her go.

This book was so great that reading its almost 500 pages was nothing. I read it happily and eagerly. The romance was sweet and sexy. The banter between Morgan and Sable, the wanting between the two of them were described really well by the author.

The action scene was also good, I love the part how her father really protected his family and how he’ll challenge Morgan Carey himself when he found out that his daughter was unhappy after her voyage with him.

I also love the way Ellen Tanner Marsh described Sable, I think this chick is just too beautiful for her own good, but….. that’s how romance isn’t it.

This book is definitely a keeper, been reading it for hundreds time… never bored of it, so… I hope you enjoy reading it too.

HEARTBREAKER by Linda Howard

Heartbreaker is my first Linda Howard romance. Tell you the truth, when I read the summary at the back of Linda Howard’s novel, I usually pass, because I don’t think she’s not hot and sexy enough for me. But that thing is forever change when I read this book. The pace was fast and the story is anything but boring, it has sweet romance and sexy doings….. just my kind of book.

What I love about this book was she told the story from the hero and heroine point of view and feelings, so you will for certain be sure what exactly what John and Michelle think about each other.

Michelle grew up as a spoiled pampered girl, the kind of girl John Rafferty hated. But when she lost her father ranch, fate brought her to John and she had no choice as to see him again. The decades of love and longing for this man hasn’t changed, yet it was getting more stronger than ever. And of course John felt almost the same way.

To make things more colourful, was this Roger guy who used to be Michelle ex and still want to get her back.

So when John realize how much she loves Michelle, he did everything in his power to protect the women she loves
